Free spins, the doubled ladder, and the button in the corner
The game · the part that produces the screenshots
Three scatters bring ten free spins, and inside them the multiplier ladder is doubled against the main game. There is also a button that sells you entry directly — present on screen in the maker's own demo, despite what the most-linked description of this game says.
How it triggers
Three scatters. The game prints it on a ticker across the top of the reels while you play: collect three of the scatter symbol to receive ten free spins.
That is the whole trigger. There is no collection meter, no progress bar, no secondary condition. Three land, the free game starts.
What changes inside
Less than people expect, and the one thing that does change is the important one.
Unchanged: the grid, the 1024 ways, the cascade behaviour, and the rule that decides everything — the golden card still appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and still flips to a joker in place after a win is eliminated. That mechanic is set out in full on the golden card.
Changed: the multipliers. JILI's own description of the game says the free game doubles the multipliers against the main game. The ladder that reads ×1 ×2 ×3 ×5 during normal play is worth twice that inside the free spins.
That is the entire distinction, and it is enough. A four-deep chain in the main game pays at ×5 on its last step. The same chain in the free game pays at double that. This is why clips of this slot are almost always from inside the free game.
The part nobody puts in the summary
A doubled ladder is only worth something if the chains arrive.
Nothing about the free game makes a golden card more likely to land. It does not widen the columns it can appear in, it does not seed jokers, and it does not shorten the odds of a four-deep sequence. It takes whatever chains happen to occur and pays them at a higher rate.
Ten spins is ten spins. Most of them will be ordinary. The free game is not a different, more generous game — it is the same game with the multiplier column scaled, which means the variance goes up along with the ceiling. That is the honest way to read the word bonus here.
The button in the corner
In the top-right of the screen, in the maker's own free demo, there is a BUY BONUS badge.
Pressing it buys entry to the free game directly for a multiple of the current bet, rather than waiting for three scatters.
This is worth flagging for a reason that has nothing to do with strategy. The most-linked English description of Super Ace states flatly that the base title does not support a bonus buy and that only some sequels offer one at select operators. The button is on screen in the maker's demo. It takes about ninety seconds to open the demo and look.
It is a small error, and it is a useful one, because it shows how these pages get written: from each other, not from the game. The same pattern produces the figures compared on RTP and max win.
Whether a given casino exposes that button is a separate question — operators configure what they integrate, and in some jurisdictions the buy feature is switched off entirely. What is settled is that the game itself has one.
The one question worth asking before pressing it
Not is it worth it — that has no general answer. This one:
What multiple of my bet does it cost, and how many ordinary spins is that?
The buy price is shown before you confirm. Divide it by your current bet. If the buy costs 80x, you are paying for eighty spins' worth of stake to receive ten spins with a doubled multiplier column.
That arithmetic does not tell you whether to press it. It tells you what you are actually buying, which is the part the button's design works hard to keep vague. A price expressed as a number of pesos feels like a purchase; the same price expressed as eighty spins feels like what it is.
Do that division once, in the free demo, where it costs nothing to find out. The free demo sets out how to get there.
Retriggering
Scatters inside the free game extend it. The game's own rules screen is the place to read the exact condition and the exact number of added spins for the build you are on, for the same reason every figure on this site carries a build number: a slot that gets updated is a different game, and the rules screen is the only statement of it that updates with the game.
The build these pages were written against reads v_186_0008, checked on 24 September 2026.
What this does not mean
A free game is not free money. It is a segment of play with a higher ceiling and the same underlying arithmetic, arriving after a trigger that itself had to be paid for in ordinary spins — or bought outright with the button.
That is not a reason to avoid it. It is a reason to notice that bonus, free and buy are all doing promotional work in the same corner of one screen, and that the only number in that corner which means anything concrete is the price.
Before any of it is played with real money, safer play is the page that matters most on this site, and it is the one with no button on it.
Which of the eight games carrying this name has which bonus is on eight of them; the sequel's version is on Super Ace 2. The overview is at what the maker publishes.
